Why is my water cooler not dispensing water?
A common reason for your water cooler to not be dispensing water, is that the unit may simply not have power. Firstly, check if you have plugged the water cooler in and it’s turned on at the socket. This is an easy explanation for a water cooler not working.
If your unit still does not work after checking the necessary power supply, check if the fuse the plug has blown. A quick check can save money and time!
Secondly, your water tank may be frozen. Water tanks freeze during periods of little use, even overnight! If you suspect your water tank is frozen, leave your cooler unplugged overnight allowing the ice to melt.
With gravity fed water coolers, check if your tank is frozen by removing the top of your cooler and the lid for the fill tank. It should be pretty obvious if a big chunk of ice blocks the dispense. Be careful not to touch and contaminate the inside of the tank!
A water supply problem in the water cooler. Check to see if the water supply to your cooler has been turned on. Trace the piping from the back of the cooler to locate the water supply.
Why is my water cooler is slowly dispensing water?
A reason your water cooler may be slowly dispensing water or not working is that you are overdue for a filter change.
Filters are recommended to be changed every sixth months to ensure freshness of water and general use. When you delay a change, the filter may be containing too many contaminants which could be slowing down your supply of water, as it has to work harder to bypass the filter.

Calcium build up on the tap. Additionally, your water cooler tap may have a build-up of limescale. To fix this, leave the tap soaking in a limescale solution and watch your problem fix itself!
